Managing Partner – Strategic Design, moodley industrial design gmbh
Since July 2018 Daniel Huber is managing partner for moodley industrial design gmbh. He and his team formulate and realize innovations in the fields of industrial and corporate design for renowned clients worldwide that are active in a wide variety of sectors. Till July 2018 Daniel Huber has served as managing partner and head of strategic design in his company Spirit Design – Innovation and Brand GmbH that he has founded in 1993.
Daniel Huber has won a large number of international design awards. He has also been nominated for a variety of prizes, and his projects have been the subject of countless major exhibitions. Huber is regarded as being an expert on Design Driven Innovation and on trends of the future. He imparts this expertise via guest professorships at the Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Graz (degree program in industrial design) and in a large number of professional lectures on design.
Daniel Huber started his studies by majoring in architecture at Innsbruck’s University of Technology. A year later, he switched his major to design, and passed the entry examination for the masterclass in industrial design taught by Prof. Boris Podrecca and Prof. Paolo Piva at Vienna’s University of Applied Arts, Huber was also trained in value analysis and in project management. His initial professional experiences comprised architecture and furniture design and being a staff member at the I. D. Pool design studio headed by Professor E. W. Beranek.
Daniel Huber was born in 1968 in Salzburg. He is married and has two children.
